The Mixtape returns - 17 in.
Pardon the lack of mixtapes. We return to form with this batch of songs. Enjoy some ear food. We also have a bunch of shows scheduled in the upcoming months. You can scope out the plethora of show options in the show section.

Kind Words!
Someone is blogging nice things from across the boarder!
"Here we have another wicked addition to that vast Torontonian D.I.Y. family. Horselover, or HRSLVR, are a completely uncategorizable monster that have arrived to tear the proverbial babies from their terrified mother's wombs. The two songs here are driven by sass and swagger. Not unlike early Blood Brothers or Chariots, which if anyone remembers was the band that Travis from Song of Zarathustra started after the demise of SoZ. The band cite influences such as Daughters and These Arms Are Snakes. I can definitely hear bits and pieces of those bands here. But there is something else lurking beneath the flailing Punk Rock surface, a seamy, roiling undercurrent that suggests something has been feeding on Shellac or Butthole Surfers records. The result is a far grimier, foul-mouthed racket than you might expect, snatches of grubby rock n’ roll or groaning Festival of Dead Deer-esque dirges forcing themselves shoulder-to-shoulder with the unregimented Punk Rock clatter and making for an EP that never goes exactly where you think it will."

And some nice things about our friends, Animal Faces:

Oh So Quiet!!!!!!
Things have been pretty quiet as we slowed down a little with shows, but they will be picking up again. Some dates added in London and Streetsville, as well as a local show at Soybomb that we'll announce as soon as we get the details.
Other than that we've been busy moving to a new jam space. Now that we're in a new spot we will get huge muscles and become a Danzig cover band (MOTHER!) ... or just be more productive.
Here's a new mixtape with some punk business, heavy business, misc business & big business.

A Show! and a mixtape!
We're playing a show at Siesta Nouveaux tomorrow with a ton of bands. This venue (and our practice space!) is closing down and this will be the last show we're playing there. So come, enjoy and say goodbye to this wonderful little space!
We also did not post our last mixtape on the site at the beginning of the week. Looks like we're getting lazy!

Mixtape Monday #13
It's fitting that our 13th mixtape come from the bowels of the fiery abyss that is hell. Check out these loud, unforgiving, ballads from the Prince of Darkness himself. On the news front, we're playing Siesta this Thursday, March 1st. Check out the info here.

Mixtape Monday #11 - Rhyme Time.
First of all, thank you to all of you who attended the Brampton show Saturday. It was an awesome time, even though each one of us was suffering from our various maladies. We spent Sunday recuperating in our oxygen beds and we were able to muster up enough strength to put together another mixtape.
Behold! Do you like hip-hop? You don't? Too bad! It's Rhyme Time!
